So it just started dumping rain here, like in the last 10 min. annoying co-worker, you know the one who does not want to be an assistant, jumps up and said "oh my god it's raining, 's car!" and then as she is running out the door she says accusingly "why didn't anyone tell me it was raining?!"

So boss is driving a convertable with the top down today and gave her his keys to take care of it if it started raining. Now I do not want that job ever, but doesn't it fall in the category of what an assitant would do? This is the same woman who just yesterday would not take something and make a copy of it for him, but said loudly can do that for you. She is a crazymaking control freak information hoarding pita. And she is LOUD so everyone knows her business and how busy and important she is, BUT isn't at all and no one likes her.

I cannot drive a stick shift, though I was taught once (one day). My best friend loves hers but that means she has to drive the whole time if she wants to take her car

I can't drive a stick shift either despite a couple of attempts to teach me. Just seems like too much work. Also, everyone who has ever told me that it is easy to learn learned as a teenager or young adult. I have been driving a normal, easy car for far too many years to easily learn a whole new way!! (Although it would be handy to be able to move Bob's car if I needed to)

Missing woman searches for self

A search and rescue operation was underway near Iceland's Eldgjá canyon last Saturday when a woman did not return to her tour bus. Turns out, the woman had in fact returned to the tour bus and had actually helped try to find, um, herself. According to Iceland Review Online, "Before reentering the bus after the stop at Eldgjá, the woman had changed her clothes and freshened up, resulting in the other passengers not recognizing her… She didn’t recognize the description of herself and 'had no idea that she was missing,'" said the area's police chief.
