OMG, have youse guise seen the victim blaming show Fatal Encounters on whatever cable show, with all the female victims saying "If only I hadn't [taken whatever innocuous action] ... I wouldn't be dead now."
It's not victim-blaming, it's just a framing device for shows about murders. All the shows are the same; they just contextualize it slightly differently based on the title.
I haven't seen the show. I'm only calling the ads out, and they totally highlight the role of the victim as the cause of their own death and gloss over the killer in the ad.
ita !, I hope that doc can help you out. I REALLY hope so.
Thanks for the happy anniversary wishes, all! We had yummy sushi, and since it's a work night for Dan (he wakes up at the god-forsaken hour of 4 am), we're going to Cabin in the Woods this weekend, followed by fancy Christopher Elbow ice cream shop stop!

Oh, finally. I have words to put to the meme of the cute guy. You know the one. The ridiculously photogenic guy? I'm finally up to date again. Close call.
Wow. I had only seen a little bit of that on Tumblr.
YAY puppies.
I kinda love Ashley Judd a lot.
my cousin or aunt and uncle need to get this cat: [link]
Give 'em hell, Ashley. "Puffy," indeed. She looks like a round-cheeked Vargas pinup girl.
