You're nice, and you're funny and you don't smoke, and okay, werewolf, but that's not all the time. I mean, three days out of the month, I'm not much fun to be around, either.

Because books.

Ginger, will you marry me? That's perfect.

Went to dinner with my parents at a great Italian place, and didn't have anything to drink but a sip of limoncello (ick), and I feel drunk anyway. Sadly, I think it's just my blood sugar is sky high. But it was so worth it.

Sometimes I think I might just move up to Vermont, open a bookstore or a vegan restaurant. Adam Schlesinger, z''l

Ooh, thanks, Ginger. That might work nicely.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Yes! I'm almost cleared to sleep! One more task on the repository backup.

I guess I could have dinner.

But I figure if I'm sleeping my head doesn't hurt.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I drove to Traverse City to see a show. The show was lots of fun and many of the cast/crew were happy to see me. Tomorrow is brunch with a friend and back to Chicago. I'm currently lounging in the home of friends who are off at a lake somewhere.

Hair is now six inches shorter, husband is traumatized.

Have you reminded him that it grows back?

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

You do not even want to hear the extent of the conversations we have had. If nothing else, I have reminded him that it will look different tomorrow when it's not blown out straight and full of product.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Husband needs to chill! He's always loved your hair long, hasn't he? But seriously, it's your hair, and six inches is not very much!

It's totally that stereotypical men love long hair thing.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I saw an old friend tonight who just got a bunch of hair cut off. So hers seems really short while mine seems really long, but they were actually about the same length! Which is top-of-shoulder.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

cut mine today too, but only 1 inch off, so now it's about 2 inches long.
