Teppy is a goddess. The 4 ibuprofen is better than the Vicodin. But I'm taking both at bed tIme. I'm out dancing now and having a blast. Just taking a cool down break. Too sweaty. And maybe tipsy.

Did I break the thread? I think I'll get another drink then.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I sent too many emails trying to explain that celebrating a youtube video of the MSL Rover as a sexbot isn't really appropriate for outreach or a noontime talk at my workplace.

Ugh. This week has made me realize I don't have enough angry feminist music to blare in my car. Just a little something to moderate the rage.

I came up with a Nancy Ann C. Yancy (or Nancy Ann Cianci) combo while putting laundry in the dryer. I promise I'll stop after this.

If she were hypnotized into believing she were in a jousting match (as the horse for some reason) while waltzing at a formal ball she'd be trancy, lancy, prancy, dancy, fancy Nancy Ann C. Yancy.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

I recommend Butchies and Northern State. In case you were looking for something new to you, and assuming you don't know them. In fact, I may take my own advice and crank one of them up. I'm so cranky right now thinking about all the mansplaining in my life, past and present and every. damn. day.

Wait, is this real-world child support, where the money goes to buy food for the kids, or MRA fantasyland child support where the women just buy Ferraris and cocaine? -Jessica

I recommend any sort of Queercore, most notably Tribe 8's Frat Pig in situations like this.

Le Nubian, surely you have some Ani?

You know I don't. Not because I don't like her, but a bad experience with someone who did like her. Put me off her music for awhile and that while turned into years!

Hey, I have some Liz Phair!

I will certainly check out all suggestions.

Who do you have?

I'm working on a "Just A Girl" playlist. The most pointed stuff is No Doubt (Just A Girl and Excuse Me Mr.), Laurie Anderson (Beautiful Red Dress), Suzanne Vega (If I Were A Weapon), and Eurythmics (Sisters Are Doing It For Themselves). I also have some generally fierce and/or empowered stuff from Poe, PJ Harvey, Liz Phair, The Dollyrots, and Joan Jett.
