It's very nifty. And is a good solution to making the dates and the ribbon stand out while not involving color, since all my tattoos are black.

How does it react with UV?

I had heard there were health concerns about those inks. Is that no longer or just never was true, Jilli? Regardless, that's a lovely design.

I just had a ride with the assiest taxi driver. I know he had my destination in his computer, but he keeps making me say it louder and louder until I'm yelling, and then he asks (i swear) Y U MAD? Dentist was 3 hours of hell. Went in for a crown. Agreed to add 2 fillings. One of the fillings ended up being more involved than expected and may end up a root canal. For now it is just a filling and it is "being watched". The original tooth is also a potential root canal waiting to happen. He cleaned it up as much as possible and I have a temp crown for a couple of weeks. After that we decided if it is just a crown or root canal and crown.

Bleh. My mouth hurts. I had worked extra earlier this week so I could take the morning off for this, but I'm taking some pain pills and planning a nap for the afternoon.

I just declared bookmark bankruptcy. I have been syncing my bookmarks with Xmarks ever since the dawn of the ewe, and my bookmarks are a red hot mess. I exported the whole list to an html file, stuffed the file in evernote and deleted every goddamn bookmark in chrome except instapaper.

Now I will rebuild it.

There have been changes in formulas for the UV inks over the years, so there are now ones that are safe. And if my tattooist says it's a bad idea, I won't do it. He's the professional, and I know he's up-to-date on information.

But now I'm going to go search google about it, because hey! Why not?
