I'm going to never assume anyone has been raped unless I was there or they told me. So no pregnancy is as a result of that unless the first sentence is fulfilled
and
they tell me that this pregnancy is related to that, no matter how many relationships they're not in.
Do people really go there? To rape rather than "some guy I didn't hear about?" That's depressing.
A lot of people would ask, though, in the absence of an obvious baby's daddy.
Hey, anyone who works in print, can you help me out here? A client of ours is requesting some stills in the following format:
16P wide
CMYK
TIF
300 dpi
The only one I can't figure out is 16P. It can't possibly mean 16 pixels, and the only other option I see in Photoshop that makes sense is "picas." Does that sound right?
16 picas is about 2 3/4 inches. Would that be a size they wanted?
Maybe? I'm just pinch-hitting on this because I happen to have Photoshop on my laptop.
That's 2 2/3 inches wide, which is possible but improbable unless they're something like headshots. I can't think of any other P, though.
I may have led a sheltered life -- every woman that I've known well who's become pregnant has had an SO. So I haven't had to think along the lines of in vitro or casual fling or rape. (And it should probably go without saying, but I wouldn't ask.)
I would assume turkey baster over rape, every time.
Frankly, I would assume that any woman I knew who became pregnant from rape would have an abortion. There are certainly women who keep the child, but my assumption would be that they wouldn't.
In other news,
ESRI, which is a major player in computerized mapping technology, has an online wildfire map of the United States. Useful, that.
online wildfire map
Well, that explains why the air around here is so much crap.
In procrastination news, I just disconnected my landline phone service; something I should have done about 8 years ago.
