It's a well triviaed team--we have a ton of reference books, and many computers at our disposal. But the set up of the contest is such that we only have two songs worth of time to phone in a correct answer--so we have to have a broad base of knowledge at hand.
I'm getting pretty tired and will probably nap for a couple of hours this afternoon. But my team has cracked the top 15 our of 400 some teams.

I had that song in my head all through the Kroger. It was sort of fitting, really.

Just got back from a neat walking tour of local historic architecture in the neighborhood around my local library. After I rest up for a bit, I'm headed off to the Roots Music Festival in CW&L Park.
We have a big seafood festival this weekend but the forecast was for 80% chance of thunderstorms today. I worked instead. There have been a couple sprinkles. Grrr. Now we will likely get them tomorrow when I figured to go.

Well, I've been awake all of 32 hours minus maybe 45 minutes this afternoon.
Only things I can attribute to not being scary is face cleaning cloths in the flight, dry shampoo, immediately unpacking and walking to Plaza Mayor by way of the palace and gardens, the wonder that is the sort of tapas mini-Redding Terminal Market aka San Miguel Market and wine. And more walking.
I think I'm going to shower and collapse.
