Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I'm finally watching Scandal for the first time, and: Ooooooooh.

"Cry havoc and let slip the boobs of war!" -- Miracleman

Yes, I finally watch the fist ep this week, and I loved it. What I did not love -- the "naive" little white girl who is going to bring a conscience to the firm. Let's lose her and concentrate on the people making shit happen.

I missed the first two, and they aren't On Demand -- wtf.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

I just found a reference showing one of my ancestors was fined for "disorderly talking in meeting" in 1648.

Dang, you are descended from riff-raff, missy!

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Fucking hippies.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

So they didn't think of me as one of them since I'm a halfsie.

But yes, we should have known each other 30 years ago!

I totally count halfsies! It was funny looking at Champion on that map, and Chardon is so close.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

It is close. But close in Western US terms, not in Ohio terms, necessarily.

My mom is super easy to find as the only asian in her tract!

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

Scandal is delish. for real.

Punishingly Intricate

I guess I was wondering if there was some sort of "Gosh, this happened to me and I don't know if it also happened to you, be aware" kind of thing, where then possibly the guilty party might be like "So sorry".

I think you could totally approach your neighbors this way.

Baltimore is still pretty segregated. Not surprising but still kind of shocking to see in a graphical way like that.

ION, a new Teddy Roosevelt themed restaurant just opened in town tonight. And we celebrated the birthday of my friend, a huge TR fan, there. I don't really understand why Teddy Roosevelt. I mean, he was cool but what food do you associate with him? Meat? Anyway, food was good and it was good times.

Ha, true.
