Oh, at first it was confusing. Just the idea of computers was like — whoa! I'm eleven hundred years old! I had trouble adjusting to the idea of Lutherans.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I don't even bother clicking on the shoe/boot links anymore since I know that even if I had clothes that go with said footwear, it wouldn't be available in my size.(Stupid mutant feet)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Whew!

I gave everyone the calendar version of the project plan, and they thanked me and are happy, and aren't even mad that my September delivery date is the 30th of September.

I feel I should leave work before anything has a chance to go wrong (since today has gone eerily well), but sadly, that option is not open.

What's the term to describe someone who believes there is one (or are many) god(s), but doesn't worship?

Sigh. My dentist visit.

Bad - Oh look, I cracked a tooth, good thing I have an appointment on Friday.
Good - I remembered to take a Lorazapam before the appointment
Bad - The dentist doesn't have time to look or do anything cause my appointment was with the periodontist
Good - The periodontist is very nice, gentle, and efficient
Bad - Insurance only covers two cleanings a year, so I have to pay this in full on my own
Good - Insurance paid more on CJ's dental work than expected so I have a credit on my account that covers today's cleaning
Bad - The first available appointment to deal with the cracked tooth is next Thursday.
Good - Based on the x-rays, it looks like just a crown is needed with the potential for a root canal, but I should be able to keep the tooth
Bad - Minimum cost for next week will be $550
Good - If I donate $20 to the wildfire relief fund, I can get $100 off that cost
Bad - Now that the appointment is over, the Lorazapam is putting me to sleep

I didn't specify enough, sorry. I'm thinking of the Marvel universe, where you can have a god next to you, so Deist doesn't work, because they require non-interference.

Panenthiest?

§ ita § - Aug 17, 2012 2:15:47 pm PDT #18484 of 30001
Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Panentheism is a belief system which posits that the divine exists (be it a monotheistic God, polytheistic gods, or an eternal cosmic animating force), interpenetrates every part of nature and timelessly extends beyond it. Panentheism differentiates itself from pantheism, which holds that the divine is synonymous with the universe.

In panentheism, the universe in the first formulation is practically the whole itself. In the second formulation, the universe and the divine are not ontologically equivalent. In panentheism, God is viewed as the eternal animating force behind the universe. Some versions suggest that the universe is nothing more than the manifest part of God. In some forms of panentheism, the cosmos exists within God, who in turn "pervades" or is "in" the cosmos. While pantheism asserts that 'All is God', panentheism goes further to claim that God is greater than the universe. In addition, some forms indicate that the universe is contained within God

Uh, I have no idea?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

I don't see that addressing the issue of Thor.

Because books.

It could be agnosticism. You don't believe in a god(s) but you don't disbelieve either (and don't worship).
