Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Thanks, TB. Sometimes I feel like the regular doctors have forgotten about me since the last time they saw me, and that the ER nurses are waiting for my next visit. It's all upside down.

I am now processing that I told the web developers I'd give them gay porn to put up on the revamped company web sites. Apparently "ita ! doesn't play chicken to lose." Sometimes bits bleed through...but I swear he brought gay porn up first.

He did also suggest we sleep together. But he meant just sleep.

I think. I mean, so that when we (all of us) wake up at 3 with project paranoia, we have something to do.

Good god, that whole conversation is sounding worse and worse now that I look back on it.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I'm bargaining on the headaches leaving with my periods.

Mirena makes periods stop. Is there any chance something like that could help you?

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

It's not just the cessation of menstruation that I'm anticipating, but the whole hormonal upheaval. I haven't heard as much about period suppression due to contraception making the difference on its own. But most doctors have shrugged and said "I guess waiting until menopause isn't an option?"

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Hot flashes had occurred to me too, ita, but I wasn't sure if a hot flash would cause a flair up in pain, whereas a flair up in pain could cause sweating and perhaps a bit of fever. That's why I asked which came first. But I'm feeling very far beyond my depth, what with not being a doctor and all.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Not to be the bearer of bad news, ita_!, but I'm hitting perimenopause and have noticed a (slight!) upswing in migraines.

I hope to one day come out the other end, and I can't do that if I don't start.

However, since they started, like October, I've four weeks of those flashes. Is that normal peri menopause? Those big gaps? I can deal if it's part of that thing. If it's a different thing...no want.

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

My migraines dropped from several a week to, maybe, four a year after my hysterectomy. should jhave had it done five years earlier.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Just had more of an adventure at the airport than I needed. I was picking K-Bug up from her Vegas trip and decided to park and go in to wait for her. As I crossed from the parking lot to the entrance I saw an older woman face down on the pavement. Her husband was just standing there, unconcerned. I asked if anyone had gone for help and he nodded. There was a pool of blood by the lady's head. I made sure she was breathing then held her hand and tried to comfort her while we waited for the medic to show up. During this I texted K-Bug to meet me outside.

The medic showed up and checked her out, the bleeding had stopped by this point. The gal had bashed up her face pretty well and was also kinda drunk. They were going to take her to ER to make sure she hadn't busted anything in her face. K-Bug showed up right as the ambulance arrived. I wished the husband well (though he was a useless tit) and we left.

The number of people who stopped to make sure help was on the way outnumbered those that just walked by. A couple of others stopped to provide tissues and call for help. One gal, who is a respiratory therapist, stopped and stayed with us until the medic arrived. Some people are good people.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, Suzi. I'm glad she got taken care of.

ita, I'd be scared to add hormones, if only because I got a Pill once that gave me crazy migraines, and I'm barely susceptible to them the rest of the time. Actually, I don't think I've had one since going off hbc, but even before that I only had them very occasionally.
