Buffy: So how'd she get away with the bad mojo stuff? Anya: Giles sold it to her. Giles: Well, I didn't know it was her. I mean, how could I? If it's any consolation, I may have overcharged her.

We've got strobe effect lightning and I let Pumpkin out on the deck. She was nonplussed. Just sat staring at the sky.

Aaand the news just broke in with a tornado warning for Baltimore County- as in take shelter (it's to the NW of me and the bottom edge of the system is just skirting me.)

They're most worried about my old neighborhood for tornados. Huh.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I made the call to not stop at the small pharmacy near the doctor, but go to the chain near home, because I had a script waiting there. Doctor wrote one prescription on the wrong paper, and the can't-miss-a-dose medication they won't have in until next week, if that's okay. HOW IS THAT EVER GOING TO BE OKAY??? Insurance won't let me fill it a week early, so clearly I can't wait that long. So that means I gamble with a pharmacy near work, but then I have to drop off and pick up tomorrow, because working from home Thursday and stuff...too many meds I can't keep track, and none of them make it not hurt.

Like, Monday was a 3 until I got home, at which point it was a 5 with flashes of 7. Today was a steady 5 with an hour or two of 7 in the middle, and the fellow's brill little exercise has had me back up to at least a 7...he kept recommending it after I told him I couldn't hold the position without pain, and would need a different exercise to work up to that one.

I never got that transition exercise, but I do have the 7 pain which isn't just the head anymore, and now has accompanying nausea. So, thanks for that, fellow.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Gah, how frustrating, ita.

And sheesh, Jess! Thank goodness you were able to do all that.

I ran around town today doing a bunch of show related stuff, on the promoter side, which is weird. Advertising, sponsor tickets, opening act, preshow venue, show venue, hospitality. And then some company banking (at two different banks) stuff.

And I scored a lampshade for my free lamp at the thrift store. So that's totally functional now and I really love it.

And I weeded.

So I think I'm entitled to lie around and eat mint chocolate chip ice cream for the rest of the evening, yes? Oh, no wait, I still have laundry to put away. Pout.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

whoever asked about not getting rid of stuff when you have bed bugs ...... what I was told was to bag and treat things and keep doing that until you see no evidence for months at a time. I bought a heat treatment machine, vacuumed multiple times a day, sealed baseboard with silicone, bagged or sealed in airtight bins most clothes and anything that could not be heat treated. All clothes left in circulation were washed in hot and dried on hot for 1.5 hours then bagged into ziplock bags. removed only to wear and put into other ziplock bags when dirty. I also bought gallons and gallons of 90% rubbing alcohol, that will kill them on contact. I would set alarms for 4am and spray down the beds and other furniture.

I was a bit crazy.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh ita, that sucks royally. If you need someone to help with rides or errands let me know. I have to pick up the kids early tomorrow, but otherwise I'm home.

Also Jess is a saint. You're a good neighbor.

First day of school was a success! Kids came home happy, despite the heat on that hill.

I need help with a picture. If you look at this [link] , what is happening with regards to 3D space and the woman squatting on Wolverine? Her arm bands are straight across, which means her arm is parallel to the plane of the picture. And then judging by the shading on her fingers, her hand is angle somewhat out of the paper. Doesn't that make her arm too short, especially for the size of her hand? And then, where is her hand in relationship to the plane of her knees?
