Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Oh, hey--remember yesterday when I said there were lots of helicopters hovering? Thanks, Polgara. I'm thinking I've found out the other 2 in order to get to 4. But I don't remember hearing a crash, though. Poor pilot. I wonder what happened?

I didn't drive into work yesterday, but that's on one of my routes home. At about the time I come home, so I'd likely have been caught in the snarl of traffic. Last time something jammed the area up, it was an escaped convict. Clearly this a more exciting neighbourhood than I'd originally thought.

(There are sirens and helicopters going by as I type this...)

Unrelatedly--Steph, I've seen a fair amount of meta talk about Sherlock as a sociopath with only one healthy attachment.

Which is not a sociopath, but hey. How else are you gonna script your fairy tale?

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

I managed to get the dishes done last night, but I don't seem to be getting dressed or doing anything else so far today.

Good luck to your brother. That is a hard race!

Yeah, especially since, although he's been training hard, he didn't quite qualify. He won a lottery at the last big mountain bike ride he did, and that gave him the entry to Leadville. He still seemed to think he could do it in 10 hours, which is 10 mph at high altitude! Pretty impressive.

I just wish I could tell--he was supposed to be sending us texts, but it doesn't seem to be working.

Karma is a cat, sleeping in my lap cuz it loves me. ~TS

I drive through that neighborhood all the time to hang with Jane, so yeah, that's a little freaky, especially given how very many of those small planes are always flying in this area. Totally missed the activity though, as I was driving north around that time.

It does feel far from the Santa Monica airport to crash, though. The pilot must have been in a lot of trouble.

I was gonna say -- sociopathy doesn't work that way. He's totally on Team You Will Never Understand My Spicy Brains So Step Off Now, but that's still a far cry from sociopathy, god damn it.

(Yes, still not washing dishes. But I'm going to do them now, I MEAN IT.)

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

So, while waiting for the train just now I met a guy who got out of prison today, exonerated by DNA evidence after 30 years inside. That doesn't happen every day.

Wow, thats kind of fascinating, t!

I also feel unaccomplished compared to Paul Ryan. At my age he'd been in congress for years!!

But then, I'm someone who woke up, futzed around, ate brunch, and now is contemplating a nap. Clearly a big worker, me.

It's so much more rooooooooooomantic if he medically hates everyone, but Watson can get through his crusty shell to the creamy nougat of his big gay love.

Good god, I need groceries.

Don't wanna get up.
