I totally do the sad desk lunch thing when I'm at work, so kinda love that tumblr. My favorite so far is "All you need to know about this lunch is that it is this: 2 vitamin d tablets, 2 wellbutrins, a birth control pill, and a broken pretzel stick. 'I hope desk snack is better.'"

Jesse is me as well.
I eat lunch at my desk so that I can run errands or read in my car with my actual "lunch" time (which is more like 2:30 by the time I get around to remembering I should go get the dry cleaning, or whatever).
I eat at my desk almost every day, too. A leftover from when I couldn't drive. Now, I'm just cheap.
I often sad-desk-breakfast it, too.
I am also Jesse! Our cafeteria delivers for free, which is nice. The food isn't that great. but hey! However, today I forgot to hit "submit" on my order, so I have to go find something, or wait another hour.
I have to eat Sad Desk Breakfast because I start work at 7am and have an hourlong commute. So I'm already waking up at 5:30 just to get to work on time. Adding breakfast to that would just be absurd.
(Plus, eating that early, I'd get hungry for lunch by 10am, and that would just snowball into eating an extra meal every day. So I keep peanut butter and english muffins in my office next to the toaster.)
I set fire to an english muffin in our office toaster oven once. Trauma!
My most frequent campus lunch is a summer burrito (it has ranch dressing and hot red chile salsa) from the taco truck. What can I say? It's tasty and I'm cheap. My favorite on campus is Lemonade, especially the lima bean salad, but that's a lot more spendy.
And all this talk is making me hungry for breakfast. Is it weird that I think I'm going to make a sandwich? That's not that weird for breakfast, right?
Dylan eats a peanut butter and jelly sandwich almost every day for breakfast - I say go for it.
Work starts at 7 am? Oy I feel for you, Jessica.
edited to add:
I say go for it.
I will, yes.
