Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

The taxi question was regarding a hypothesis I read that said, men give the destination at the window and then get in the cab, and women get in the cab and then give the destination. Everyone I know, male and female, gives the destination after we get in, but I just saw a man on tv do the talk at the window thing. So. I think it is not true.

Toaster oven!

I don't know how to punctuate that to imply the right inflection....

I love that Fraser-Pryce of Jamaica wears ribbons in her hair and grins to herself at the warmup to the race.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Is anyone watching the Olympics who can tell me approximately when Phelps' race takes place?

I don't think it has happened on East Coast yet. Fuckers at NBC.

Okay, thanks. That probably means it will be crazy late.

I probably won't care that much, then, since I'm considering getting up early for the men's tennis final.
