Right, there comes a point where you have to either move on, or just buy yourself a Klingon costume and go with it.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

This is one of the things that sort of makes me hate the internet- we don't have Chik-fil-A, and I probably would not have heard about it if it wasn't for the internet. And now I am mad and I hate being mad!

One woman actually said "I am against gay marriage as I don't think gay sex could be anything like real sex. That doesn't mean I am homophobic! I don't hate gay people!"

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Well, um, Liese, sorry? Too much candy? A tight corset that took blood flow from my memory-retention neurons? Gimlets!

Them's my excuses and I'm stickin' to it. But I'll see you (again!) in a about 40 minutes! YAY! BBQ!

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

"I am against gay marriage as I don't think gay sex could be anything like real sex. That doesn't mean I am homophobic! I don't hate gay people!"

Surely if her problem is an aversion to gay sex, she would welcome gay marriage as it eliminates two potential gay people who might want to have sex with her.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

I roomed with Liese at the Chicago F2F! That was pre-Celexa, so I was much more anxious than I am now, but it was still a blast. So strange to think that's the ONLY time I've gotten to meet some Buffistas in person!

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Theo, weren't you in LA?

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I snapped and was mean to one of the developers.

Based on everything I've heard, she totally deserved that. Oy!

why is our country so hung up on sex? it is bizarre.

It does reek of "my issues, let me show you!" doesn't it? Although we aren't the only culture that goes the extra mile to control its citizens' sex lives.

Theo has been at several Bostonista area events, yes? I know I've met her at such.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

why is our country so hung up on sex?

Because it's fun, and if you let people go around having fun it might lead to increased happiness, and if people get happier, who knows where this could all end?

I obviously need to taste this chicken so I can be an informed boycotter. What $5 cost could I incur for them to balance out the ledger (I would have to order the charbroiled, since I don't like fried chicken in the first place--is the charbroiled legendary too?)?

Today seems to be the day ita spends chasing people down. Said totally infuriating developer refuses to tell me how much information she actually has on what she needs to do--I suspect it might be because I keep framing the question as "what was covered in the knowledge transfer session?" and she can't work out how to handle that without accepting blame for being unprepared. I asked her if she was ready for this over a week ago, and she's been evading me that long.

And, since I apologised to her, she's been deafeningly silent still--I need to know she's looking for info, but I can't divine it through the wires or anything.

Her excuse for asking me for the information she'd already had since yesterday? "Oh, I didn't read past the image". Glad to know you put such a high bet on me answering your question that you don't bother reading the whole email (it was a dialogue box--it's not like there was heavy scrolling involved) to see if it's there--it is clearly simpler to keep asking the question than to read the answer.

I have been so much meaner to people at work and people have been so much meaner to me!
