But? There's always a but. When this is over, can we have a big 'but' moratorium?

Our local paper is proudly touting the lines of people at Chick-fil-a yesterday. Apparently they're standing up for decency and free speech.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

Nothing says decency and free speech like a breaded chicken patty.

information libertarian

Our local news last night had a woman in the line at Chik Fil A crying about how important it is to stand up for Christian values.

On the plus side, this led to me explaining to Casper what the kerfuffle was about, and she instantly said, "Well, I am never eating there again."

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

With a pickle, apparently.

I have never been to Chik-fil-A. Perhaps I'll get a fried chicken sandwich from the locally-sourced organic cafe in protest of Chik-fil-A...

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Chick-fil-A is kind of delicious, I'm not going to lie.

Because books.

I love the equestrian events, Consuela. A horse and rider fell the other day, though, and that was scary.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have just been adjacent to some incredibly unprofessional behaviour that will negatively impact a project that had dubious potential to succeed in the first place. When someone who has no reason to help you, but was being incredibly generous in the first place ends up saying "ita, please keep me out of loop" I am so fucking embarrassed I could punch a hole in reality. I can't believe someone I have to work with provoked that reaction. I wonder how that someone intends to get the information she needs now that our only resource has asked to be removed from the loop because she pissed him off so much. I've never seen him pissed off before.

I was so mad at her anyway today that I have been typing and deleting and retyping emails, and now this...
