I've never heard it as another *think* coming. The -k sound at the end of "think" and the hard -c at the beginning of "coming" just don't work for me. Clearly, it's "thing."

Thing & Pike! 4evah!
Pike is like turnpike, right?
Don't disagree with me; I am a damn zombie now and I will eat your brains.
I realize that most people didn't grow up where one of the major highways is almost always just called "The Pike," like I did. So coming down the pike just makes obvious sense in my head.
I'm not coming into the office tomorrow, woo! But I will work from home some. So that's good. I just could not be more distracted and less able to focus on work right now.
Thing & Pike! 4evah!
Yup.
Zombies and Cyborgs abounding on the board.
The main road where I grew up is called "Ohio Pike," so that makes sense to me.

Dude, when I get the implant, that should technically make me both a zombie AND a cyborg.
I look forward to ruling the puny humans with my cyborg tooth and zombie jaw.

I am Steph. In fact, until this discussion it never would have occurred to me that it was "another *think*" coming".
I have no idea what a Google ngram is (Seriously, do they just pull applications out of their asses? What is the justification process?) but since they clearly agree with me, they must be a good thing.
Pike is like turnpike, right?
Yes.
My god, I can't believe how many of you are wrong about "another think". I really thought this would be a bastion of sanity in the imbroglio of wrongness that is the Internet. It seems I have nowhere to turn. I must ask my sister--if she's not with me, I will stand with just the few right-speaking Buffistas, but proudly nonetheless. And the ngrams (Is that a Google Scientology thing? I'm still reading stuff--the contingent of practitioners that have left the main church because they feel it no longer hews to LRH's words is fascinating--they still believe, but Miscavige is a bad man, so they practice the old way, among themselves)
