Sweet lumpy minion, you're the only one that understands. Probably 'cause I haven't sucked the brain out of you yet.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Amy, I love that picture of the penguins. Can't you just hear the swelling music?

Because books.

Can't you just hear the swelling music?

Exactly. And the hair! Or whatever. Like it's blowing in the wind! Penguins are awesome.

I'm not sure why we need to wait until more water is pouring from the ceiling, but it's not actually my ceiling, so I'll let it go.

This is pretty much my stance now, even though I'm secretly terrified the house is going to go up in an electrical fire. But ... not my house, so as long as we're not in it ... ?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I know it's a leak, because it was leaking.

Oh right.

I'm not sure why we need to wait until more water is pouring from the ceiling, but it's not actually my ceiling, so I'll let it go.

Yeah, that will be a huge PITA when your ceiling falls down.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Penguins are awesome.

And sometimes badass, it would seem.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Happy birthday, Shir!

Water+electricity=bad. That is my stance.

With my aligners (Invisalign, for those not keeping up with the details of my life), I've gotten really good about flossing, because the thought of putting them back in after a meal without brushing and flossing grosses me out.

Steph, I apologize, I haven't mailed that book yet. Have barely left the house in the last week. If you really want a Waterpik, I have one my sis gave me a year ago and I never even opened; I could stick it in the box for you? Somebody might as well use it; I ain't.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

I've been having an inordinate amount of stress about this whole cracked-tooth-needs-to-be-pulled-and-replaced-by-a-cyborg-implant situation.

FYI, looks like Tom's tooth is coming out. It is also annoying because he just had a root canal and crown on that tooth which was super spendy a couple years ago (before moving down here, but not that long before). I think his theory is currently, "shoulda pulled that tooth out from the start." (before spending thousands of dollars on it.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, guys--tell me that everyone here agrees it's "has another think coming", right? I'm fragile, and I can't deal with the heartbreak.

I'm not as emotionally attached to "coming down the pike", but still...it should be that too.

Okay, I have some information gathering I don't know where to start with. Must just dive in blind.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Yes on "pike". I'm gonna have to say it depends on context for "think", but it is often appropriate.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Think.

What else would "coming down the pike" be?
