Oh, I wish those council guys would let me have an hour alone in the room with her, if I was larger and had grenades.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yes. I am the dark and surly one.

I think it's weird that I've never met ita's sister, but in that first picture, I can tell how much she still looks like herself.

We celebrated my dad's 70th birthday today. A good time was had by all, except now I don't think I can hear about anyone under 90 dying, ever.

not your mom's socks.

This week has been crazy blur.

I am now exceptionally unpopular in my house for canceling cable (1 year ago. No one noticed.) because HPF can't watch gymnastics because NBC didn't start the tape until almost 9pm. GRUMBLE.

OTOH, we are watching now. DH is amused by my stories about being schooled on parading from event to event.

Bela Karolyi is the Swedish Chef of gymnastics.

We met K-Bug's new boyfriend today. He fits in with the clan pretty well. He loves Firefly, though he didn't discover it until after Serenity. I'm kinda afraid we may have overwhelmed him a bit today.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

I am now exceptionally unpopular in my house for canceling cable (1 year ago. No one noticed.)

That's pretty hilarious.
