Oh honey, the mentally unwell people have been in the fanbase since Game Changers was Stucky fanfiction on the internet. The calls have been coming from inside the house the whole time!

Just back from the grocery store, where I bought ALL THE FRUIT: bananas, apples, pears, grapes, avocados, figs, and apriums (in addition to the white peaches I bought at the farmer's market yesterday)

Life moves pretty fast. You don't stop and look around once in a while, you could miss it.

So I dreamt that I was on Big Brother, along with Scrappy, Liese, maybe some other people I already know? ...

Are you SURE it was a dream? writing from alternate Big Brother Dimension

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I swear, I never knew table tennis was an Olympic sport.

Is Frisbee an Olympic sport now too?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I would watch the hell out of Olympic Ultimate Frisbee.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

aurelia, what did you think of the last scene of Awake?

I was so sucked into Jason Isaacs performance that it just felt beautiful and not at all cliched. As soon as he stepped out of the shrink's office into the bedroom I thought, "OMG, he's going to wake up before the accident ever happened!" which turns out to be a lot more positive way to think about it than, "WTF? It was all a dream?!" And I find the Lynchian aspects to be utterly delightful. How could you not love Wilmer Valderrama in a penguin suit ? And BD Wong and Cherry Jones arguing about which one is real ? I love it.

Ooh, I like that interpretation. I had the WTF reaction and just didn't know what to do with it, especially as I had enjoyed it so much up until then (especially the parts you mention. I mean, really, every show needs more penguins and/or penguin suits, right?

Eta: Let's start lobbying the IOC, Zen! How hard can it be to get a sport added?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Argh -- this guy said he could "leave now" to come buy my old computer like an hour ago! I want to dry my hair! But don't think I would hear the door, so I keep putting it off.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Tom, that's awesome! You should set up an etsy shop--we would definitely buy your photos.

I love the one in the subway station with the stealth pug in the backpack. LOVE. I would buy the hell out of that. (I don't know how one buys the hell out of something, but I would do it, by god.)
