How did your brain even learn human speech? I'm just so curious.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

My cable is back this morning. I'm confused, but watching tennis.

You were supposed to be able to livestream. (Dressage ended for the day about 30 minutes ago.)

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

The BBC opening for the Olympics had Cumberbatch.

This is really all I care about at the moment.

Well, damn the American coverage. (I was thinking during the opening ceremonies that it was sorely lacking Cumberbatch-ness.)

For reasons.

Ah, that's much better. He's right up there in my top 5 list of voices that make my knees wobbly.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I just discovered that all the copper kettles were the individual petals of the cauldron. Cool. Cause they were random and strange otherwise.

I’m responsible for my own happiness? I can’t even be responsible for my own breakfast! (Bojack Horseman)

You could watch this with the sound off and not really miss anything.

That's what Tom, smonster, and me did in the bar, with beer, and it was pretty awesome. Much giggling.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

There's women's basketball on one channel, men's beach volleyball on another channel, and tennis on another. I don't care about any of those things. I want dressage! Damn.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Were they bright copper kettles? Were there any woolen mittens? Did the girls in white dresses have blue satin sashes?

The status is NOT quo.

Damn! I completely forgot to TiVo the opening ceremony, and I really want to see it.

Art Crawl!!!

USEF has a printable NBC equestrian events schedule. I'm guessing that the times are Eastern so Eventing (phase 1) should be on at 12:45 Central.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Damn! I completely forgot to TiVo the opening ceremony, and I really want to see it.

We Tivoed it and it was an unwatchable mash of broken up pixelation. Probably just our local cable company though.
