Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Yikes. Paul does not sound good.

I'm waiting to see if Romney makes some gaffe about it being inappropriate to play The Devil's Music at the Olympics in response to the McCartney performance.

So come, my friends, be not afraid/We are so lightly here/It is in love that we are made; In love we disappear

The BBC opening for the Olympics had Cumberbatch.

This is really all I care about at the moment.

Obviously too young for Jim McKay.

She's about my age, and I'm not too young for Jim McKay. However, I will state for the record that it is possible to find the late Jim McKay annoying. Because fuck, I did at times.

Many times.

And basically, as horse racing was my sport until our political divorce a decade ago or so, I was exposed to a LOT of McKay.

I mean, I was sad he was dead, but mostly because it was one of the nails in the coffin of an era.

I did a survey of the lurkers in email, and Great Britain is funnier per capita than most English speaking countries.

Maybe. I muted it. Can't listen to that song.

Cumberbatch's accent sounds a bit...open for RP. Does that make sense?
