You know you're famous when this [link] counts as an entry in a lookbook. Because that ain't a look. That's not even a thing.
I would like my current outfit entered into a lookbook. Mismatched PJs and all.
I'm having another tiff with developers, as fuckup guy gets defensive. We're looking at the screen with the results of what he did wrong, and he's chewing gum louder than he's explaining why it's not working. He is defiantly saying "It's Y!!!! I wrote Y!!!!" And we keep telling him we know he wrote Y, but Y is wrong. It's incredibly confusing.
And I am having to grovel my butt off getting other people to do their bits of this again and again to work around this one guy's mess ups. Every time we track down another mistake, we have to fix it and run through a whole set of steps all over again, and most of the people in that process are completely innocent. And I'm indebted to them.

they said "spandex trousers" OMG, someone please send that to the Fug girls. Those are MF leggings. Leggings are not pants, much less trousers.
Spandex trousers. Huh.
Eta: of course that's x-posty!
I have a strong urge to yell "MF snakes on the MF plane!!" Even with the boss gone, I realize that would not be a great move at work. Still.
Heads up to the east coast - we're getting the kind of storms (semis blown over on the interstate, that sort of thing) that were the precursors to your line of derechos earlier in the summer.
Of course he did.
I think this is a public photo on Facebook -- a local cat rescue group is doing a "15 Shades of Gray" event where, if you adopt a gray kitty, you get a t-shirt that says "I'm into S&N" (spay and neuter). [link]
One of the groups I work with has cat adoption t-shirts with a cartoon of a cat behind bars and the caption
Free Pussy

I just heard about the semis on the news (channel 5), but Northside is sunny now -- BRIGHT sun. Weird. I see another storm on the radar back in Indiana, and I really need to get a shower, but I can't tell when that storm in Indiana is going to get here.
I too am watching channel 5. Which makes me feel like an enormous dork, actually.

That sounds terrible, but....since when are derechos a thing??? I think the staff at NOAA or whatever maybe doesn't have enough to do, which is why they keep naming weather patterns.
