Saffron: You won't tell anyone about me breaking down? Mal: I won't. Saffron: Then I won't tell anyone how easily I got your gun out of your holster. Mal: I'll take that as a kindness.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Yikes, bon! Good luck!

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Hope the ortho goes well, bon!

And yeah, msbelle, you do what you can. I'm disappointed; when you moved, I really hoped that your family would be able to be more support for you, not less.

(Oh, and as an aside, the SO did end up with a Dallas tour date: Aug. 11 at the International Linguistics Center.)

Which reminds me! Strix! Gudanov! quester! Other KC-ish types! I will be in your vicinity (sort of. Louisberg) Fri. August 3rd! I know it's a workday, but is there any chance of meeting up with all y'all for lunch somewhere? I will come to you. The show isn't until 7:30, but I will be just rejoining the tour, so I will want to help with setup and kiss my husband and stuff, so I'll be at the venue by the time workday stuff ends.

THAT.

In my-job news, I still think it's weird to work for a place that gets covered in the newspaper.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

Liese --

Yes, and yes! Depending on what time it is, I may need to beg a friend to watch the kiddo, but I am NOT turning down a chance to see Buffistas!!!

bon, so glad I could offer some decent advice, and I hope everything works out well for your poor arm. Hairpats...

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I got my payroll notice and it was higher than usual. Nice, but in a wtf way. I got a second payroll notice that broke out a rewards and recognition amount from my regular salary. So, nice - but no idea why. We have a team meeting on Monday, so I guess I'll find out then. Hey, an extra $350 (before taxes) is always nice.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

So the Olympic Opening Ceremonies are on a tape delay? Sigh.

Because books.

I thought they were on tonight?

That's a nice surprise, Suzi.

They are, but they don't start for me until 7:30PM.

Because books.

Me either, now that I look. I hope they're as crazy as promised.
