Oh msbelle. Sorry for the stress over the stress causing more stress. I know it is a parent's job to worry about your kid and all that, but chill out parents of msbelle.
All of that.

Yikes, msbelle. I'm sorry they're making it harder. Not helpful, msbelle's parents.
Yay for donating blood, Suzi! I never have, but my dad did routinely for years. I don't think my iron is high enough right now, and I've always wondered about meds -- are there meds that make you ineligible?
There are some, but not many, I don't think.
Happy Bday, Kat!
So the universe+facebook are making me think I live in some weird vortex of connections: I commented on bon's post. A friend of hers commented as well, who I don't know. FB helpfully noted she's also a friend of a newly met friend (K) here in Baltimore. Who I met through my roommate from Prague when she was out visiting. They're from Boise, went to high school together. Totally different circle of friends than my buffista friends. But it gets better! We found out, fairly recently, that our suitemate in Prague, J, was K's on-and-off gf while we were in Prague (kinda off since she was never mentioned and J was dating a guy there, which K didn't know about.) How bizarre is that?
Add to that lisah and I's crossed paths over the years before meeting, my friend down the street who co-taught for years with one of my favorite people in my hall in college....and don't even get started on the astro-incestry.
And I've made it even crazier because now my Prague roommate friend has struck up friendships (some just fb, some correspondence between their two girls) with some of my neighbors....
Oh man, msbelle. Negative points for the parents on the help-o-meter.
When you (all of you) are relaxed with your mouth closed, do you close your teeth as well?
No, I don't.
Related question: when you're relaxed with your mouth closed and your jaw open, does your tongue cover your lower teeth? When your jaw is closed, does your tongue completely fill your mouth and press against the roof of your mouth?
Seconding the rec for GABA supplements. They can be got at places like Whole Foods and Vitamin Shoppe.
Oh msbelle. Sorry for the stress over the stress causing more stress.
And this.
So I submitted a change request in our HTML change request system--we need to change a logo in our web app. And I attached the new logo. We're in the meeting, staring at the ticket with the embedded logo, and I'm told I need to send the logo to the developer. Who's on the phone too, looking at the same ticket. With the same page open on his desk.
I did get as far as "But..." and my manager got as far as "Just..."
BUT SERIOUSLY. Sure, it's minimal skin off my nose. But what the fuck it the point of that? Who needs more mail?
Oh, god, I'm so sleepy and I still have another status report to go before I drive.

I think no and no, but now I'm not sure! I think at rest, my tongue hangs out behind my top teeth
YOU CAN DO IT, ITA. Overcome the stupidity and ridiculousness.
Oh, god, I'm so sleepy and I still have another status report to go before I drive.
Oh, crap, I forgot to give my manager a status report. And now it's too late; she's already had the meeting she needs it for. I'll just pretend nothing happened and maybe she'll forget I forgot.
