I don't like vampires. I'm gonna take a stand and say they're not good.

I'm pretty sure it is just condensation. When the ac wasn't running, it dried out. It's normal. You probably aren't as used to seeing it because you live in relatively drier climates. Out here? Dude, my vents have rained on me INSIDE the car (of course, that's because my ac doesn't work well enough.) But puddles on the outside is normal.

Ok. Well, I do need to get the oil changed anyway, so I'll ask them to double check. I love my mechanic to pieces and trust his opinion.

I normally don't sit on the passenger side of my own car. We had stopped so CJ could buzz into GameStop to pre-order a game. While I was waiting I heard the sizzle of something under the car.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

A friend of mine had an aunt with a Datsun 280 ZX where a big chunk of ice would form on the air conditioner unit.

No, that's not supposed to happen. But lots of water condensation is normal when it's hot and humid.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

FB is fuck buddy. I pretty much have no opinions on Facebook ever, for future reference.

This is, believe it or not, making me incredibly excited about the Olympics.

If a British newspaper report is correct (and, oh, how we hope it is), Mary Poppins and Lord Voldemort will clash in a tense battle scene during Friday's Opening Ceremony of the London Olympics.

Hatch green chile burger (pretty mild, but still good chile,) garlic fries and rootbeer and jack cocktails for dinner tonight. My garlic-induced burps are really strange tonight. Or maybe it was the rootbeer.

I was going to say. Boing Boing was using this as a basis for criticism of the Olympics. Which is absurd. This is awesome. Not that there is not tons to say about the militarization, the massive civil liberties violations on behalf of the Olympics, and the outrageous subsidies and giveaways to them. In many nations the Olympics is often used as part of war against the poor - to clear them out of areas developers want, though I'm not sure this last is happening in London.

But Mary Poppins vs. Valdemort? Totally awesome. Maybe the people at Boing Boing never read the book. Cause if they had, they would know thatMary Poppins is dangerous and kick ass. All the other supernatural beings are afraid of her. She is either an avatar of a goddess or an avatar of something more powerful than a goddess. The last chapter of the book makes it clear that her wrath would be terrible indeed - in biblical sense of terrible.
