What kind of lettuce should one use for a lettuce wrap and how does one go about using lettuce as a wrap?
Mess is inevitable, I think. I'd maybe use magenta or butter lettuce, mostly because I get it in my CSA box but also because they have strong leaves and a crisp heart. I recommend small portions of whatever the filling is, because the leaf holds up better and there's less mess when structural integrity fails.

Romaine has that stiff, crisp spine - you can drizzle a little filling down it lengthwise and try to curl the edges around as you eat. I've had some success with that, but it's not really tidy. The less filling you try to put in the tidier, fwtw.

I had a paranoia fit, because the web site confirmation when I bought my TDKR ticket said I'd gotten one for a late Friday (3:30AM) showing. And the confirmation said I'd gotten one for Thursday the 19th (3:30AM).
I know it's Friday morning at 3:30AM, but stupid things happen, right? And I'm not allowed to actually cry because I miss a movie. So I went to the theatre to retrieve the tickets. Which say what I knew they'd say. Now there's the possibility of losing the, but they're in my knapsack, in that pocket, so I'll be safe. Alarm is set, clothes are laid out, I'm having a magic muffin and hydrating, and then I'm going to bed.

Went out dancing with K-Bug and a friend. Lots of line dancing, great band, free booze (ladies night), and tons of sweat. Got home a bit ago, took a shower, and now I'm waiting until 3am to head out to pick up CJ and his friends from the trilogy. Then sleep. Blessed sleep.
