This isn't a come-on. I'm in a very serious relationship with a landscape architect.

Vanity was the biggest reason I started growing a beard about 16 years ago.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Happy birthday, beth! And bonny too?

I am still super pregnant, and getting really tired of hauling my huge, aching body out of bed to go into work every morning. Especially since I've given away just about all of my projects to the people who will be handling them while I'm out, so I barely have anything to do! But hey, there are worse things than getting paid to sit at my desk and wander aimlessly around the internets, so.

What?! I thought you were done like four months ago and were just hiding the baby from us.

Seriously, though, Kate it feels like you've been pregnant for 5/6ths of a year.

Quit procrastinating. I'm sure you feel like you have things that still need to be done - developing lungs and whatnot.

But what about JZ's need for delicious little babytoes? Will nobody think of JZ's nibbly toe needs?

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

Happy Birthday beth!

Beards still remind me of uncles (my uncles have always had beards. We are a family of weak chins, and frankly, if it was socially acceptable for me to have a beard, I would try to grow one!)

Funny thing about that... (Okay, 3/4 of a year, but you're pretty close!)

My due date is Friday, and I know it could even be a couple weeks later than that, so I'm trying to keep my patience, with varying degrees of success.

I'm sure you feel like you have things that still need to be done - developing lungs and whatnot.

Oh no, this kiddo's lungs are fully grown. At this point s/he is just putting on extra chub. Which is a good thing, of course, but can be done in the outside world as well!

But what about JZ's need for delicious little babytoes? Will nobody think of JZ's nibbly toe needs?

I'm doing all I can to meet JZ's nibbly toe needs! But JZ's gonna have to get in line behind me and M and our parents -- we totally get first dibs on babytoes.

They'll be none left!

Yesterday, Matilda had a particularly transgender focused day of pop cultural intake.

1) Introduced her to the Ciel in Wonderland anime which features a boy in a dress, and a trans character (the one playing the Cheshire Cat).

2) Watched Glee with their new character Unique.

3) She read the end of The Marvelous Land of Oz which is where the boy character Tip is turned into the female character Ozma.

A dress should be tight enough to show you're a woman but loose enough to flee from zombies. — Ginger

WOOO, KATEBABEEEE!

Yes, today is indeed bonny's birthday!

I have been bitter, and sometimes I still vent some bitterness on B.org, and the Blag Dog occasionally bites me in the ass. I feel pretty happy these days in general, more so than ever, although I'm still pretty jaded about the world.

I have my feisty days -- I'm gonna kick the shit out of this problem! -- and my bitter days -- Why the fuck even bother? -- but more and more, I am either Zen about something, which is not to so apathetic, or feisty. So..well, there's that.

ION, if I get tangled up in Pottermore, I'll disappear into the Wormhold of Non-Productivity, right? Is it worth it? Should I even look?

I dunno, I have seen some complaints about how you can't pick your own username, the house-assignment seems to be random, and there's a lot of onerous clicking required before one can actually do anything. Me, Ima gonna pass, but I'm not a Potterhead, either.

A friend of mine was scheduled for a c-section tomorrow, I think, but went into labor over the weekend, and had the baby! So either she took your early delivery, or take heart that there will be a baby eventually?
