"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

sarameg is speaking truth tonight.

TRUTH.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

yes, still have he two cats.

I am not sure why, but I think litter boxes and bathroom deep cleaning are too much - also anything more than vacuuming my room.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I am not sure why, but I think litter boxes and bathroom deep cleaning are too much - also anything more than vacuuming my room.

I get that. The first two are dirty and the last is personal.

Someone to just do some of the light maintenance on a regular basis will make a huge difference. Then the deep cleaning (OMG, move the freaking bed and vacuum 6 months of Devi-fur-mat up. That took 45 minutes alone!) won't be as daunting.

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

mopping
grocery shopping
wipe down of fridge
filing
organizing book shelf
strip beds, wash sheets and remake beds
wipe down walls
windows (how I LOATHE doing this)
sweep patio
prep chef meals
in my case, but not msbelle's, grade papers

We have no cleaning person anymore, which is fine. But man the floors kill me.

Randomly, on Sunday there was a 400 lb black bear in my neighborhood that they have nicknamed Meatball. Like 1 block north and two blocks west.

Also, Grace's nurse does a ton of Grace things that include sorting her clothes and pulling the too small stuff, crafts with Grace, maintaining her machinery, organizing her crap (toys as well as supplies etc).

You've got a mascot!

I actually don't mind vacuuming and mopping. Wish it didn't take 2 hours to do the whole house, but I do appreciate my clean and shiny floors and NO CATHAIR RHINOS TUMBLING across the carpetting. Or bedding down in them. And this time of year, it's a losing battle (cleaned this weekend, Already spotted some rolling juvie wildlife.)

I love grocery shopping! And man, we have someone come once a month and it's $125 (before tip) so $65 for every other week sounds amazing.

My grocery shopping is farmers' market (which gets my ass moving early saturday morning,) Target for a few things, TJs for a few. Occasional runs to a real grocery for the veggie juice I like that Target no longer carries. I've totally moved away from one-stop shopping, but since the base of all my meals is the FM....speaking of which, I still have to figure out what to do with my two monster zucchinis and ears of corn. Just haven't had the spoons (or desire to turn on stove) for either yet. But you damn betcha I've almost finished 2+ pints of blueberries, 1/2lb spinach and working on the arugula... Eyes were a little too big this saturday.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

My cleaning people (through Merry Maids) vacuum, dust, make the bed, and clean bathrooms and kitchens. They don't do dishes, do laundry, or clean windows. I wish they'd clean the upholstered furniture and move the lighter furniture to vacuum underneath/behind it.
