I'd rather stay home and watch television. It's often funnier than killing stuff.

The feeling you get when your brain finally lets your heart get in its pants.

Oh yeah. Bitter or not, I've been pretty fricking lucky.

Swouncing

Skipping yet again (is a daily skip anything like a skim?) because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is beth b's birthday.

Happy birthday, beth! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!

Ooh, I remember you talking about that contest before, Cash! Fun! Let us know if we can help.

I am not that bitter or depressed right now. But I've been both before and can envision being that bad, even if I havent actually been that bad. (hoping that sentence doesn't end with "yet")

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

do you ever think the bitter will just eat you inside out?

I have been there, yes. It is not a fun place to be. But I'll echo what both beth and Burrell said, as they both said it far better than I ever could.

Also, on Pottermore, I am HawthornKnight7121. I just sent a bunch of friend requests out. Does anyone know if there is some way to tag profiles or friends so I can remember who is who?

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Oh yeah. Bitter or not, I've been pretty fricking lucky.

Me too, very. I'm not bitter about the present, but I still have bitterness about the past, which bleeds over. I'm working on it.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Why I like my co-workers: when someone brings in donuts, there is not a single whine of "Do you KNOW how many CALORIES are in that?!?" or "I don't eat ANYTHING with carbs!" or even "I want one, but I'm trying so hard to be GOOD."

No, instead there is a flat-out stampede to the kitchen and schemes hatching to get the last jelly-filled donut.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

I'm going to call this a positive story, since we all know such people exist, but even in the most conservative state of Australia, their attitude is apparently no longer politically acceptable: [link]

Edit: actually, just one criticism: the paper described it as an anti-feminist rant. It was anti-women.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Morning, Buffistas. Yet another blah day.

I haven't run this week, because my sister has bronchitis and I can't get myself out of bed early enough without knowing she's meeting me. And I can totally tell it's affecting my state of mind. Bah.

In better news, I did some writing last night, for the first time since last fall, so go me.
