but Theo always sounded unfinished to me
But it's got the nice round O sound at the end! The N softens it too much for me.
But I love names that sound like that. I went through a phase where I wanted to name every one of the male characters in my romances Leo.
Isn't Theo just short for Theodore? Or Theodosius?
I'm going to mis-speak about a name that's refusing to come to mind but I've spoken a gazillion times--I just don't know which one it is yet--I don't think I like a nice round O at the end. And I do like how the n takes it and winds it down.
Leo, still being clearly short for something.
We had a Molly in uni who, when asked if that was short for something, she'd say she was short (5' even) for no reason at all.

Sometimes, but it's becoming more and more common to make the short version the full name.
Molly used to be a nickname for Mary, I think. I can't think of what Leo would be short for except Leon or Leonardo or something.
Leonard is also cromulent. But I will accept Leonardo as complete. That o is a-okay with me.
The -eo dislike might come from my father having Galileo as one of his names. It's complete, but it's also hella ugly.
There's a time-sensitive invitation sitting in my work email about a "travel club". I missed the presentation, but they 'waive' the $200 initiation fee, dock $20/month from my paycheque, and: I can book travel through them; there are trips (whoop-de-do?); monthly specials (on what?); I don't sign a contract (coincidentally, if I don't join I also don't sign a contract, so how is this a perk?); and I could win a trip to Cancun.
I need to decide by today, but I DON'T KNOW. I guess I should just pay attention to the thing where I don't travel as much as I used to because I Don't Have It In Me, and let that be louder than the whole but-what-if-I-miss-a-deal? thing. I'd be spending $240 for something I don't understand, and if there's half a chance I end up taking a tour of the Holy Land with a co-worker, well, just toss me in a boiling tarpit right now.
I forgot about Leonard. I need to watch more Community.
Don't join the club. I always regret things like that.
I agree, don't join the club, it sounds at the very least annoying and also sketchy.

Still is, in some circles. My SIL is Mary/Molly.
Gargh, my Nemesis is being her usual self. She's been funneling work to a contractor that should go to me, which means I'm left out of the loop of what's going on with my own program. And then she had the gall to complain about being left out of the loop in a meeting with our boss last week. The hypocrisy, it burns.
I suspect I'm going to have to talk to the contractor, who seems friendly enough, but I don't want to get her caught up in our office politics, and it's not really fair to put it on her anyway. The ridiculous thing is that the contractor is, in fact, very busy, and I'm not. I could be doing the work, if my Nemesis would just give it to me.
Molly and Polly both were nicknames for Mary.
Senna takes me to a constipation/pooping place immediately.
