Natter 70: Hookers and Blow
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
We'd happily do someplace in Northside (Melt, Dusmesh) or Clifton (uh, whatever is there besides Graeter's).
Aims, it's only about 5 hours from where you are to here... leave at 7am and we can do lunch!
Man, I really want to click on the article that says The Rock might play Lobo, but it's technically open season on Batman spoilers in spoilery spaces, so no go until Friday.
I have a ticket for 3:30AM, so I expect to be truly miserable most of Friday and maybe Saturday. I will try not to comment on said true misery. But this misery is the only way I can be happy.
Clifton (uh, whatever is there besides Graeter's).
Yet more Indian (3 restaurants within half a block of each other). And Skyline.
Melt or Dusmesh is good with me.
Liese, Dusmesh is Indian (really, REALLY good Indian), and Melt is a sandwich/soup/salad place -- but not your average sandwich/soup/salad place: [link]
My children are appalled by Skyline. Clearly we got them to Cincinnati too late.

Obama stopped at the Skyline downtown yesterday and got a 4-way bean and 2 coneys. Whether he actually ate it is unknown, since he got it to go.
Skipping oh-so-much because, according to the Buffista Calendar, today is juliana's birthday.
Happy birthday, juliana! With lots of wishes for a great day and a wonderful year!
Also, due to those somewhere-way-way-upthread mentioned connection problems, I've missed wishing Zenkitty and Ouise their shared-birthday wishes on the 14th, so belated wishes to them as well!
Happy Birthday, Juliana!
Belated Happy Birthdays, Zenkitty and Ouise!
(edited to fix typo)
Happy Birthday, juliana!

I was an adult convert. It's never too late.
My children are appalled by Skyline.
Noooooooooooooooooooooooooooo!!!
(My mother had the good sense to marry a New Englander, so there was no competing chili standard in our household. I had no idea Cincinnati-style chili was even a thing until I got to college. I made chili for my friends one night from my mom's recipe, served it over spaghetti AS IS RIGHT AND PROPER, and then had to spend the rest of the evening admitting that I'd probably never had "real" chili.)
