Emmett does not suffer from imposter syndrome. I have foolishly filled him to the brim with self confidence which is occasionally not warranted (he was very surprised to find out from his coach that he's not a particularly good singer).
For those who saw Legend of Korra, that scene where Bolin is talking about why Korra should date him? That's very Emmett.
