Sorry, Captain. I'm real sorry. I shoulda kept better care of her. Usually she lets me know when something's wrong. Maybe she did, I just wasn't paying attention...

I had a dentist appointment today that I thought was a simple cleaning, but nooo, it was a 90 minute adventure of films and assessments, because I have so much spare time on my hands this week. The net result being that I have 4 more crowns in my future. Not surprising, these poor teeth are over 50% fillings at this point. Not in imminent-failure, but they are showing stress and deterioration.

Good news is that my dentist now makes crowns in house, so I just spend 3 hours there, a bit of it just chilling, waiting on the crown formation. I'll split the work over this year and next, as I'll be hitting this year's deductible with half of them, and sock away next year's OOP in FSA.

eta: Suzi, I feel your pain. I really do. Each crown is going to run about that out of pocket. Damn lousy insurance.

I've got an eyelid twitch. Ah, stress.

Now I gotta schedule my catsiters.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I really wish I had planned for my nightguard better, and put the money in a HSA (?). Bah.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

Sara, our dentist does the in house crowns also. Does make that part a tad easier, but still. Bleh.

Yeah, I didn't plan for this to be THIS year. But oh well. Cost of my stupid genetics, thankfully one I can handle. Still, it's a grand I'd like to spend on other things.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

if anyone by chance has a GameBoy Advance GameShark, I am looking to buy one for $20 or there-a-bouts - things on ebay are more and my local craigslist is going me no love.

Uggh on dental costs, Suzi and sarameg.

I'm ChaserSun2549 on Pottermore, if anyone wants to find me.

brillig

Hubby's drugs are dissolving the calcium in his teeth, so he's got lots of wear and breakage. So I guess I'd better look at better dental insurance.
