tommy,
what do you mean? it could be a fellowship I guess.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Also joining the work-from-home club. Mostly because I can, today, which is just beautiful out, so I get more time to enjoy it instead of driving through it.
Fellowship? Research Grant?
So last week when I went to the Dr, my blood pressure was very high. Like 180 over something. I had forgot my drugs when I had gone home, the previous two days, so my doc made me come back today to test it again after a few days back on the meds. I had an appt. with a nurse for the BP test, followed by an appt. with a resident. My BP was fine (124/72), so there was nothing for the resident to really do with me in my appt. But she was really keen, so she started trolling through my records to see what else she could do. And that's how I ended up getting a tetanus vaccination (with added pertussis vacc) this morning.
Ack! Sorry for the double post
Yeah, my boss agrees with "Fellowship." Thanks.
For those keeping score, there's another word you can't use on Mark Watches: Derp.
why "Derp?"
Making fun of people with intellectual disabilities, I'm sure.
why "Derp?"
I guess a derp face is like a gurn, or pulling a goofy face. And it's considered ableist because it's like making somebody with Downs. That seems to be the objection.
My blood pressure was notably high at the ER this weekend, and is still high for me now (112 over I-forget) I wonder if that's a thing, or just a coincidence.
Alan Alda is always on the TV at this doctors office. And by always I mean every time I've been here in the pat couple years. And this is the migraine doc, so that's not rarely. He must be making a significant chunk of change from this speciality niche. I wonder how many hours of footage he's filmed...damn, this is a stupid thing I'm about to go google.
I am not on top of this shit. Apparently I forgot an entire new med. It's like I recall a different last visit than he does. Though, since I wrote down an incorrect med on the list (no, I didn't take it this morning, no I didn't tell the ER I took it) I am totally willing to take the blame on that one.
So I go straight to the pharmacy with it, just in case my brain farts again, and something is wrong with the script. So much for getting that all taken care of at once. Still, better sooner than later.
Someone just came in and they couldn't find the prescription she was asking about, because it was filed under her dog's name. How had that never occurred to me before?
Come on, doc, call back. Let me wrap all this up.
Clearly I need to journal doctor's appointments in Evernote.
