I am not...I am not the damsel in distress. I am not some case. I have to work this. I've lived in a cave for 5 years in a world where they killed my kind like cattle. I am not going to be cut down by some monster flu. I am better than that. What a wonder...how very scared I am.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I believe that! I'll just do it when I do it and see what happens.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

So my town does this Recyclebank thing and I get points for poundages of recycling.I just redeemed my points for a $10 iTunes card. woohoo.

I bring home paper recycling from work (since there is no recycling at work) and that has helped my points go up very fast. I should have stocking stuffers paid for by trash at this rate.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

We do Recyclebank here! And...I haven't checked our points in a long time. I should do that.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

This is a really interesting article about the first five or so minutes of reporting the Supreme Court's health care ruling.

I have to go to work! Ugh. Not enough vacation.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

And double-ugh, I sent the wrong thing out when I was working on vacation! This is why I should not work on vacation -- I half-assed it because I was annoyed to be doing it at all, and therefore fucked it up. I'll fix it.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Nothing like starting the morning realising you have a doctor's appointment at 9 and haven't told anyone yet.

Never mind the not-over-the-headacheness you were going to juggle anyway.

Yeah, let's start the week by working from home. It's just simpler.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

What do you call it when you're in college and you get a grant to do some research?

My boss wants to know.
