Oh, my motherfucking god. I'm an adult. I know that if I incrementally tidy, and just not mess stuff up so much, tidying is less of an absolute chore. But--good god. I'm actually dizzy right now. And I wish I had another morningstar muffin.
My sister just sent me this video: [link] which, if nothing else, wins the prize for most awkward completely literal title.
I have to find out who these people are.
I also think about how if I just dd a bit every day my place would be neater. But I don't.
I signed up for a sewing class at the local store. Apparently it's meant only for skinny hipsters-- they only carry the small size pattern, which only goes to about a size 8. I felt like a complete bitch when the very large woman at the register was like "no, I'm sure it'll fit you! Let me measure you" and I had to be like "I know my measurements and those aren't it, but go ahead--yes, indeed, I have hips bigger than the biggest size on there" and she was like "well, I'm, I'm sure the teacher can show you how to adapt? You seem mad" and I'm like "well, yes. I am. You offer four different patterns for this class, and don't think anyone not skinny will take it??"
I mean, I'm only a couple inches bigger, so it's probably not a huge deal--but what if I wore actual plus sizes? I mean, seriously. What's the point of a pattern if it's like eight inches off my actual measurements or something?
More flash flood warnings. Even though my area should be fine I'm glad I'm done with my outside chores.
WTF, Suzi? I suppose the locusts are next?
Shhhhushhhhh, Tom.
We just had a huge thunder bumper that shook the whole apartment building. Both cats are snuggled close to me, only startling on the HUGE rolls of thunder. They don't even twitch for the regular claps.
It is unexpectedly warm here. not killer just almost 90 , but not quite what I was expecting ...
We had locusts last month, here. Well, grasshoppers, but clouds of them threatening the crops.
Clueless
is on Comedy Central. I can't turn it off.
It's one of those movies, PC, like Die Hard.
