I like the way the walls go out. Gives you an open feeling. Firefly is a good design. People don't appreciate the substance of things. Objects in space. People miss out on what's solid.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

We are having a major thunderstorm with crazy hail in some areas. We had a horrible thunderstorm a month ago that caused major damage, I'm afraid this may be another one.

There have also been big flash flood warnings. So far I haven't heard any for down in Colorado Springs. The houses in the burn areas are in big danger. The news has been warning those folks to get for flood insurance, but it doesn't kick in for 30 days.

Because books.

Ugh, brenda. I hope it's not for long.

they basically swing in the showerheads while you're still lying on the massage bed and you shower your whole body at once that way

Carbody!wash!

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Ooh, I remember the fun time of showering a mud bath off and from and crevices and...it was a very cool spa, but WTF are mud baths even for, more than where the corpse is always left?

It wasn't strictly a car wash scenario, Amy, because the shower head was like a crucifix, so you were being showered all over your supine body at once.

God, I love showers. I could shower for ever. I know I said I rented this place because of the granite and stainless steel, but the rain-type shower head and the glass shower cubicle were another strong pull.

But I fucking hate cleaning the glass. I definitely need to get a pro in for that. Polgara recced me a cleaner, and I tried to book her last week but couldn't get her at a time when she could speak to me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I sure can! I'm going to save it for Monday.

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

Yes, THAT.

But I fucking hate cleaning the glass. I definitely need to get a pro in for that.

Once you get it cleaned, is it smooth glass? Because a squeegie post-every shower is pretty fast and really effective.

Yeah, it's smooth. I used to have a decent system down pat, spraying it down at the end of every shower, and the product would actually make it look decent longer, but...I fell out of hte habit, and now I'm short either the elbow grease or the magic potion, because I just can't catch up again.

Time for a professional...

A bad picture but a little more detail of Charlize's cut: [link] It's kinda funny how much more hair T-Hard will have on his head for this movie than her.

My god, who writes the dialogue for Person of Interest? Nobody talks like the two protagonists. And nobody wants to. They are cheeseballs. The cops talk reasonably okay--Taraji's character sounds like an actual human being. But Caviezel's character? What is that, even? He wields English more awkwardly than he wields a gun.

Wait, what's the buzz cut for? And wow, she can totally carry that off.
