scurries back into the relative safety of b.org
There are times when the fact that I'm an Internet PresenceTM is a little weird. On a whim I took a photo of my evening snack, then posted it on Tumblr. 20 minutes later it has 54 notes. I'm very grateful for my fanbase (and let me tell you, thinking about my "fanbase" is another basket of mutant kittens), but still. Weird.

Or, alternatively, your snack was
just that awesome.
My best post to Tumblr has 38 notes after six weeks.
I don't think I have any notes on mine. I'm not even sure how many followers I have, which is sad because I like Tumblr a lot more than Twitter or Facebook.
To be fair, Jilli, your snack did have a pink drink with a bat stirrer, which lends credence to billytea's theory.
Scola, it is not cool that my best post has almost as many notes as yours, as your photos are friggin awesome.
If I say something awesome or cute enough about Jilli's snack, she will notice me and thus validate my existence! And maybe we can be friends!
Scola, you reminded me! I need to go make sure I've put some of your posts in my queue.
Very little of my original graphical content gets more than ten or so notes, but some of the stuff of other people's that I posted has gotten hundreds of notes. Torchwood and Avenue Q? Who knew? But the fairy tale posters are still be reblogged months later. It's kind of depressing, really. Nobody likes me for me...
::sniff::
Oh, yeah--and getting reblogged by Jilli is totally shortcut to the big time.
I make bets with myself on which provocateuse posts will get the most notes, but I'm not very good at predicting. Katherine Moennig? Actually, I should have seen that coming...
And on the Cas tumblr, people strip off the fandom bits! No! That was carefully chosen synergy, and you're breaking it up because you like reposting pictures of weed....HEATHENS.
Scola! I need a clicky-link to your Tumblr. All I've got is your (absolutely wonderful!) Flickr.
