I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Dude, why isn't Falling Skies a better show? Pfeh.

I enjoyed this week's episode more than most. Whether that was because it was actually better or because I watched it with half an eye while folding laundry I couldn't tell you.

Had a gimlet, no ginger syrup but quite tasty. So, thanks for that, Natter.

You can't leave me to my own devices; my devices are Nap and Eat. -Zenkitty

I mean, seriously. I has a type. I seriously has a type. And that is way more specific than what genitalia they might have. That said, if I met and befriended someone awesome who happened to not have my normally-preferred genitalia, or some variation thereof, or whatever, and I was suddenly all "OMG, want in your pants"? I'd get over the "type".

This right here, in a nutshell, is why I adore meara, and why I think knowing her makes me (and all of us, really) a better person. Or makes me try harder to be better. Or both.

(OK, I flirt with a couch. But you know what I mean).

Or maybe it's this.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Trust my rage

I am awake because Ellie has some stomach bug. Basically, she wakes up from sleep, pukes, we clean up, and then back to sleep. Except that I can't fall asleep that fast and I'm afraid I feel my stomach getting tight. My mom had this two days ago and actually passed out while puking and woke up on the floor.

Trust my rage

I killed the thread so early in the mornIng...

Poor Ellie. I've never seen anyone this sick. Hopefully, it runs it's course soon.

I haven't trusted science since I saw the film "Flubber."

Oh, Stephanie, that's so miserable.

The good thing for me about being awake at 5:30 is that I can watch Wimbledon.

The bad thing: why the fuck am I awake at 5:30?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Poor Ellie! I hope against hope you aren't getting it too, Stephanie.

It is grey and rainy (although not currently raining) here, and I think I'm going to take this opportunity to not leave the house today. I need to clean and do a load of laundry, but that can wait. It's good, because most of my out-of-the-house to-do items are impossible to do today because of the holiday.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

"No--the carnitas burrito, but no meat no beef no chicken."

The meat is right there in the name! This is not hard, people.

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Sorry Ellie's sick, Stephanie.
