We have kids at the dojo who will wear their street pants under their gi. It looks so uncomfortable. And uber restrictive.
Don't even get me started on the guys (kids and at least one adult) who wear their cup OVER their gi.
In short, people are weird.
Sophia, maybe he's a Never Nude!!!
What's a Welsh cake? This baker wants to know.
He wears sweatpants as his daily wear, and he WEARS THEM UNDER HIS COSTUME!
WTF. People really are weird.
Of course, my climbing partner last night wore an odd pair of red shorts over her tights, and under her harness. No idea why.
Climbing was good last night, except when I went to leave (we were going to Picante for tostadas and beer), I couldn't get into my car because my key fob, which is the only way to disable the alarm, wouldn't work. Even taking it apart and moving the battery around wouldn't do anything. Eventually I had to call AAA and wait at the gym for an hour until they came and disabled the alarm so I could start the car and go home.
I got pretty chilled waiting around in my clammy workout clothes (the gym is basically a big old warehouse, entirely unheated), and this morning after my walk/run with my sister I got chilled again. It's probably 65 degrees outside, and I wore a leather jacket and a pashmina to work.
... I think there's something wrong with me.
wear their cup OVER their gi.
That is weird. And seems super uncomfortable.
The guys at krav who wore cups outside their pants are not wearing the same sort of cups as the ones that go under.
Good god, I'm cold. I hate to say it, but I don't think I have enough jackets for this temperature. And my cardigans look weird over shirts. So I'm half wrapped in a kikoye, but it's not exactly geared for typing.
More tea, clearly. And that other muffin.
None of my coworkers are in yet. I've been here for over an hour and a half, and I'm all alone.

Me, too! What's going on?
I even stopped at this new chocolate cafe and got a mocha. Which was awesome, I admit--probably the best I've ever had, with nicely bitter chocolate. But I'm still cold.
The War Bonds one? It's my favorite.
Mine too.
I have never heard of Welsh cake before. I am feeling all deprived now.
Fingers crossed, Job-ma style, Tom!
Huge job~ma to Tom.
K-Bug is off to her orientation for her new job. CJ is working at the pool today, selling consessions. And I'm chugging along with my work. Whole family at work!
ita ! I don't think the guys who wear their cups on the outside have purchased special cups....they just go with the Captain Underpants look, I guess.
