I'm home today with Grace because she woke up with a rash on her upper body. She had a rash starting on Friday and it has grown. So we did Zyrtec and cortisone and got a squeeze in appt at the pediatrician. It was all good until he mentioned scarlet fever (insert freak out), but alas, he too thinks it's just seasonal allergies and has prescribed claritin daily.
He also chatted about her trache as well as the medical protocols and issues with the school. We have another appointment in two weeks, so we'll see him again. He's always so nice. He's like Dr. Charming.

I only clicked on the dogs with the cute names, and Spike and Becker do look pretty nifty, although Becker is totally more a Becker than Spike is a Spike. I know he's had that name a while, and it would be confusing to rename him, but it's the wrong name, dammit.

Spike is one of mac's top two names for a future dog. Meanwhile no way any dog of ours would be a Spike in nature. Bubbles, maybe, shnugglebunny, more likely.
