It's now sunny here in DeKalb.
Looking at the radar, the main part of the cell has already passed. I think I just caught the northern edge of it. The Trib is reporting 150,000 with no power. Where I am I think it just blew all the construction dust into the lake.

I really hope we don't see that 8 hours from now... It hasn't broken 100 here yet, but the humidity is way up there. Even the cats didn't want to stay out on the deck when I gave into their whines and let them out.

Not much better, but it might get to the 80s by midnight. It's 103 now. I'm hoping the faint chance of rain works out, because everything is turning extra crispy.
