I know my own heart and understand my fellow man. But I am made unlike anyone I have ever met. I dare to say I am like no one in the whole world. - Anne Lister

Dana, that sucks. I'm sorry and hope he finds something better quickly.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Jesus, Dana. That was just a management clusterfuck with cherry on top. It's bad enough to get laid off, but that's totally not how you manage layoffs.

I don't know what "normal" funerals are like, but I do hope he can get something out of being with more of his family for a little while.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

She said her first call was to Ted Kennedy's family.

I was thinking of him today. She wore her lucky purple pumps today too!

What is even happening?

I'm so sorry, Dana.

So sorry, Dana.

I've often wondered which US these people live in, who can choose any doctor on earth with nobody else deciding which ones are allowed, and never have a wait for anything, and can get any procedure, and don't have any form of bureaucracy involved in the whole process from end to end.

INORITE!

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

There’s going to be a 10-year Firefly Reunion at this year’s Comic-Con!

Yay! Maybe I should go this time....

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Dana, I'm sorry, fuck. But at least he can attend the funeral.

I am SO relieved over the SCOTUS decision! And surprised, frankly. My sister even texted me to YAY about it. Her oldest daughter is one of the many with a pre-existing condition who was staying in a soul-sucking job for the health insurance. Her other daughter is one of the under-26 group allowed to stay on the parents' insurance.

Obama photo-bombing the Mission Accomplished picture is priceless.

Happy Birthday Hec!

Weird dream last night about attending a Stargate camp that was kind of like a big multi-team paintball game/LARP through a convention center, with cast members having to swap out and be on each team for a given bit like at those meet n' greet events.
