Yes, well, to be fair, she's been talking about moving to Canada for over a year, not because of her politics (which are conservative) but because she loves Toronto, and, I don't know, reasons. Her status was something like, "So now when I move to Canada, I'll have to wait 8 months for a medical procedure, just like people will here." Which is still stupid, but not exactly like saying she's getting out of here because of Obamacare.
I have a handful of Republicans on my Facebook feed. (My remaining biological family, most everyone I left behind on Long Island that I went to elementary/high school with, with some notable exceptions). My policy is: you only get defriended if you come onto my wall and argue with me or stir up shit with my friends (LIKE MY FRIEND'S MOM DID, SIGH. She is so blocked.) or say something truly offensive/racist/homophobic/whatever that I can't let lie. If you let me be, and I let you be, we can coexist. I don't want to defriend my sister-in-law, or my prom date, or the people I shared a lunch table with in high school, even though their political beliefs make me roll my eyes. At least, I don't want to defriend them yet.
