It is so frightening how few homes we have seen suit our purposes. This feels like extreme goldilocks: too dirty, too big, too small, neighborhood is sketchy, too far away from work, getting stood up by realtors. We have two possibilities right now (neither of which is ideal) and we are resting our hopes on a secret property that only the realtor knows about that we will see
That was me a month ago. Now I'm just swamped with boxes and trying to sell two different beds and a corner shelf unit and working. Blargh. Work.

Good luck with housing Jesse and Le Nubian! Such a pain it can be, but luckily none of the places I've ever lived has been as bad as NYC or Boston or SF for finding places.
