OMFG, this is why I'm never going to move. I emailed a guy about an apartment off craigslist, and my first question was "is this a real apartment I can actually see?" He was like OF COURSE WHY WOULD YOU THINK OTHERWISE?? Ultimately, we made an appointment to see a unit in a different building (!!) on my lunch today. Then 15 minutes out, he texts me that there's some issue, and he can't show it, but can he show me another place in a slightly different neighborhood? Yeah, no.

So I just looked at my calendar and asked my boss, and now I'm taking off next Thurs/Fri, for a five-day weekend. YAY, and phew.
