Because books.

Ginger, you've always got haiku.

I'm sorry, msbelle. That's a crappy start to the day.

Thrive to spite them

I got a call this morning from Mom. My nephew, E wanted to ask me if I gave him Chutes and Ladders (they've been playing it recently). I told him yes, I gave it to him for Christmas and he said thank you.

Then Mom told me about how they played train and E was the conductor and they went to Burlington to pick me up. And E went to go get me and Mom made room for me to sit and E said "Nina this is Pretend Lala!" (he calls me Lala)

She's got him signed up for this cool series of nature classes - pollination, bats, birds, animal tracks, insects and something else. The classes are technically for 4-7 year olds, but Mom just said he's 4.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

My shrink also upped my Trazodone dosage. So last night I slept very well but today my brain is sluggish. I have some HTML/Javascript that is confusing me.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I wish I could go sleep in an empty office! Actually, I have had worse ideas.... Put a meeting on the calendar and no one would even wonder.

hwæt

I bought the most hyperallergenic baby sunblock I could find this weekend, I tested it on a small patch of my skin, and after 24 hours of not having a reaction, I put it on my face and went out.

Now today, two days later, I’m having a reaction, and my face is redder than it would have been had I gone out sans sunblock. At least the Allegra has kicked in, and it’s not itchy any more.

Cardboard tank

OK, it's actually a car with a shitload of cardboard attached to it.

Yikes, Tom. This is why I don't believe in sunscreen! Not really.

I did enjoy the penguins in sweaters and askye's cutie-pants nephew, FTR.

I remember the crazy days. 500 posts an hour. Nubmer! Natgbsb

While my child sleeps, I am imagining scenarios for lunch that include me having all of the desserts possible from Central Market next door; Dairy Queen; Sonic; Marble Salb Ice Cream. Of course any of those would greatly upset him and therfore send my day into more mayhem, so I am just imagining and I will eat whatever frozen dinner I have in the kitchen.

"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

msbelle, I am sorry about your kid woes!

So this is probably not the best time to ask, but the SO still has a hole in his tour schedule, Saturday August 11th, between Victoria and Abilene. I think at one point you had asked about the style of music they're doing, is there any chance your church could book Mitch? I can send more info backchannel if you need. And if there's too much going on, that's totally fine. I just figured I might as well ask, since they're going to be nearby.
