Still not a fan, really. I think I'd rather be a worthless sack of shit whose mother hated her than one whose mother didn't. It's part of my world view.
Also, not breeding.

So I have been off today, and it's the first nice warm day we've had in a while. However, I am as cranky as fuck. (I'm pretty sure I am pms-ing.) For supper, I was planning to make garlic scape pesto and salad, which the greens and the scapes coming from my garden. You know, and green and healthy and delicious and homegrown.
But all I really want? McDonald's
I have to have a salad for dinner to stay on track with the CSA-usage, but I want takeout so bad, and I already had a burger for lunch! I am not pms-ing, I don't think.
I have no audio at work, so I don't know if this has any, or can be improved by it. It's the same woman as in the animated GIF, and is about that suggestive.
And compelling. Thank dog everyone only just now got back from lunch. Time for me to go for mine, methinks.
So good -- I just talked through a potential apartment with a coworker and figured out I really don't want to live there, regardless of cheapness, even if it's nice. I guess it depends on HOW nice, really. But no! I would have to move again when I leave this job, which I definitely will in the next few years, so.
Wait, it's cheap AND nice? What's wrong with it, then??
I am eating a salad. It's delicious, I'll admit. It has grape tomatoes, walnuts and chevre. But I'd still rather a burger.

WITH A CO-WORKER.
OMG, the yikes I'm having.
I do forgive, in that we-shall-never-speak-of-it way, the co-worker that trufax flirted with me Friday. Because he's been outstandingly patient with us, and ridiculously competent in this morning's meeting.
He's not on my team, but every little bit counts.
This is my kind of government official, Margaret Davison of NOAA, re: rising oceans on the East Coast
Somewhere between Maryland and Massachusetts, you've got some bodaciously expensive property at risk.
But then, I've always thought of NOAA as a bunch of hippies.
Timelies all!
I've been hearing forecasts of thunderstorms today. Right now it's sunny and the sky is clear. We did have thunderstorms and heavy rain yesterday. Of course, thunderstorms are part of the summer weather routine here.
