Aren't they something. They're like butterflies, or little pieces of wrapping paper blowing around.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

I think that would be interesting, Brenda.

Because books.

She retreated behind the lens of her camera and created Wonderland, an ethereal fantasy world.

They really are fantastic.

We won’t stop until everyone is gay.

Me too, brenda.

Oh, OKAY. Because...Jesus...those things are better than some fashion magazines. Certainly more inventive, but definitely high quality.

Um, HELL YES. You can see them all at her website - [link] (caution, music autoplay). I'm trying to pick a new desktop background picture. Sorry, Avengers post-credit scene 2 - make way.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Are you sure the person had spellcheck on?

I'm not sure this person knows what spellcheck is.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Happy Friday everybody!

I've reached the stage of ongoing insomnia where everything is slightly distant and unreal. It's not unlike being mildly drunk.

Ugh, I hate that feeling. That was my yesterday.

I need to make breakfast soon, before the kids hit hangry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Okay, here's the deal. I'm actually a bitch. And we haven't bonded. So I'm not interested in "I am having a bit of trouble getting motivated this morning :)" emails. I am interested in you replying to anything I sent you yesterday, especially considering your theoretical two hour lead, what with being in the middle of the country and stuff. If we're not tight enough to be frank with each other, we're not smiling textually at each other either. I don't want "a new perspective on who [you are]". I want project plan updates.

Grrr.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I like this xkcd: xkcd: Seventies

But I don't get why the mouseover text is in a lisp....

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Those are Long Ss, tommyrot.

Hey, you know what? That is the report for the ENTIRE month of May.

Sweet Jesus--just tell me what date the records in the database go up to...I think we both understand that June is missing, so I will dedicate today to the idea that some of May might be missing too. By 5PM, I should have the cutoff date. I'm assuming it's going to take him that long to work out that he needs to look at the last record in the table and tell me what its datestamp is.

It's like every instance of "Why don't you tell me what your goal is, not the task you have in mind?" is coming back to bite me in the ass. He will never *just* run the query I ask. I give him SQL fragments, and it's no good. He always has to decide what I mean, and give me that instead. It wastes hours, since he has yet to work out what I mean the first time he tries.

And...the difference between specifying the goal and the task is some of that targeted management I was talking about. But if the person you're talking to doesn't accept what quadrant they're in...it's like torture. TORTURE. Literally, I am tortured. Honest.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I just don't understand where the June data is.
